Everything is still dizzy when you see Placebo and friends

SO THIS IS CHRISTMAS!? 

Hey peeps I've been running around even though Uni is gone till January. There's been a lot of celebrating and catching up with friends again with some nights out chucked in the mix. A lot of my peeps are going home for the holidays so been catching up with them having tea and general chat with films and video games in the mix. 

OFCOURSE THERE'S FOOD IN THERE TOO!

A very dear friend of mine is also on her way to Canada for an exchange so we sent her on her way with a little bundle of Canada related presents. Including the Ryan Gosling colouring in book, you gotta have that.

Amongst my adventures remember when I said a friend of mine bought tickets for me and them to see a band? Well we finally went to see them last Friday and the band was Placebo?!

First song ever heard by them.

It was actually so good had a great time and was so surreal to see them live. They were the band that I grew up with in High school and where 'that band' that got me through all the rough times. I think we all had at least one band who did that for us all. I was so obsessed with these guys that it was sick knew everything about them and knew every lyric and song. But never went to see them cause was young and parents wouldn't let me go on my own. But seeing them older was pretty amazing but also surreal and it's just like wow I used to be into these guys so much?!

 But they do a good show would totally recommend them.

Besides all the hefty Christmas shopping that I've been pretty lazy about doing in all honesty I picked up a couple of things for myself. Their is a lot of bargains just now and it was after finishing all my course work. 

The dresses come from New Look and I got them both pretty cheap from the original price. Best thing ever when you discover you can buy kids clothes for cheaper prices. 

Kids have beautiful clothes these days!

Since it was getting a little chilly I thought it would be good to invest in some cardigans in colours that match most of my other outfits.

The colours look a bit washed out in the photos apologies but the dress is black and the last cardigan is emerald green.

I'll be going home to see my family for Christmas by the weekend more peeps want to see me before I have to go. Then that will be very busy and crazy as it always is as well.

Some recent buys, sushi making with friends with uni work and outfit post

Hey guys been currently dying of the cold I've had it for a couple of weeks sadly so things have been a bit slow. But kinda funny I had no voice for a few days so that must of been a given for some people cause I like to talk a lot haha!

But I've had a lot of work for university as well but powered through it despite illness and still been going to my part time job. Today has been the first day I got to spend some time in bed to recover of sorts.

Before I got ill and busy with uni work tho I had some adventures I can show you guys I don't wanna neglect this little internet space of mine. D8

Since it is getting a a lot colder these days thought it would be a good idea to invest in some warm/pretty clothes went on a mini spree and got myself some things from New Look's online shop. I had not did an online shop as big as this before as being so far behind in the internet shopping wonders of our time. I'm usually someone who enjoys exploring shops and trying things on before I buy them or spending that time with a friend.

I got this fox Hoodie and fell in love with it in the actual shop but couldn't get it at the time it's also my fave colour for autumn burgundy. It's also from the kids section of new look but their is other animals to choose from in the adult section. But a fox with a moustache what more could you want out of life!

Can't express how much joy this Hoodie has brought people around me and I wear it everyday creepily like a second skin.

I got this cute light blue denim looking dress as well and it was on sale so it was a bit cheaper. The reason I wanted it though was because I was itching for a light blue flared skirt and they were always quite pricey. But this caught my eye and was a lot cheaper and I can pull over a cosy jumper and have the collar poke out the top. Thought it was a nicer option and it came with a cute belt to. :)

This has became one of my fav things to wear just now I adore the pattern and how it looks like a tapestry it's so cosy and comfortable too. Feel like a lady when wearing it and the best thing ever that is has pockets!

To take the postage up to being free they had a deal on to buy a scarf and you could get another free so I got these cute little guys. One has pretty birds and flowers in trees on it and the other is a print of little owls on it for more darker wardrobe. Their so pretty and I'm so pleased with how quick all the items came in the post was exciting!

I'll have to try this online shopping again in the future. :)

A dear uni friend of mine invited me and my other friend over to hers one night to make sushi with each other. I had never made sushi before and that was evident in my results ha ha but my goodness it was some of the most delicious food I've ever had. I would totally recommend making and consuming fresh sushi.

It was such an awesome night filled with catching up, laughter, good vibes, and food look forward to doing it again so much!

In uni life I've been working on a lot of things despite my cold I had some deadlines already this week so apologies for lack of bloggage.

I spent the whole of Wednesday creating this little diorama based on a short story we had to study in class. Ally helped me with the LED lights since I had not used them before but I found and created everything else for the box. 

These were the sides of the boxes based on the story.

I created a little drawer for the box as well and lined it with playing cards and little bits and pieces. My teachers were pleased so hoorah!

For my other class I've been using a lot of natural materials and putting them into resin and doing photo shoots outside in woods. The blog for this project is here.

Hello Mr Tree!

So yeahs I have been doing things but sadly been so busy not managed to have even half an hour to myself to write some blog posts for you guys. ): I've been trying to keep up with everyone's blogs as well so apologies guys. I've got next week off to catch up with reading for university but hopefully some other cheeky blog posts and some Deborah time. 

That is if this cold shifts by then too!

Some cheering up with family and my hunny plus my favourite skirt

Firstly Wowzers! Thank you all so much for the positive response for my product review post I had a lot of fun doing it and I intend to do more. Also thanks to the new peeps for following the tinfoilrosebud I look forward to your future posts and comments. 8D

It has given me a little boost cause to be frank things haven't been to great recently theirs been a lot of drama going on at my work. It made me quite ill with stress and I've barely been sleeping or generally been happy really. But with the help of my folks, Ally and some co workers things have been looking a bit better these days. I hope I can sleep again soon because starting University again in the next couple of weeks and will really need it ha ha.

My folks brought me some flowers to cheer me up again and they are beautiful I love flowers as cliche as their seen these days. We had a lovely day out looking for furniture for my new place and we let them see our little garden which Ally's brother tidied up for us. I'm excited to show you guys the new place and our garden even tho it could use some TLC theirs strawberries and raspberries growing which is exciting! :)

Me and Ally have been spending some quality time together we went out and got noodles the other night and went to the cinema. Ally really wanted to see Alpha Papa the film about Allan partridge it was pretty funny was a nice time out with him. :)

We also went on a walk around our new area and found we were really close to this huge and beautiful park which had a hill that you could see the whole town from. We saw a Hawk that night and mushrooms which is something I don't see often but I hope to explore more of this park again. :)

Actually made a film at this park with my classmates which we had to make in 24 hours with various themes.

I run about in a Crocodile onesie that's all you need to know ha ha.

I know I have already posted this skirt before but I actually love it so much I wanted to post it again and took better pictures this time. It does seem that the new bedroom window is the spot for taking fashion photos as well. The skirt is so comfortable it glides so softly over your legs and is so light and airy it helps with the hot and clammy days. It is also just the Maxi skirt for me and to think I would never find one that suites my personality. 8D

Cause of the stress been experiencing I wanted all my hair cut even shorter and I'm pretty happy with the results. Ally actually cut this style of me and I like it a lot. Also been wearing some new make up which I'll do another review post for you guys soon. :)

Got another therapy session tomorrow but then a tea date with catching up on the side with some classmates looking forward to that quite a lot. I also thrifted some lucky finds while furniture shopping which I'm excited to show you all too!

Visiting home packed with adventures with summer outfit and little goings on.

Hey peeps!
Was home visiting the folks last week for a few days and packed a lot of mini adventures into a few days including cosy nights on the couch in front of the Tele and family dinners again. 
Which is so lovely to do since I don't watch TV anymore and cook all my meals since becoming a student but nothing beats home cooking does it? :)

An old dear friend of mine who was studying in London for quite a while came back up to visit his family and see me for a day in the city! 8D
I've missed him a lot he's such a lovely person and always shows me amazing things and we appreciate each others interests.

We spent the day having lunch at a beautiful cafe we always used to go to every weekend and it was delicious! Propper old catch up was abound and it was beautiful! He took me to a Fuel Juice Bar which I hadn't tried before but it was super yummy and perfect for this hot weather. We then went into a new Forever 21 oh my what a beautiful store can't wait till I have some pennies after payday XD

We then went exploring some more and he took me to a new chocolate store that just opened for the first time in Scotland from the original in London. He got me a little bag of chocy's and their so tasty and the packaging is so sweet! Of course to end the day we went to Waterstones looked at books and talked about books one of my favourite thing's to do in life!

What a wonderful day I hope we see each other again soon. :)

Me and the folks had a beautiful walk along a Canal that's nearby my family home and it was such a wonderful day. I adore nature so much and it's the happiest I can be when it surrounds me.

What a beautiful little home to have right on the canal it's like a dream house guys! *0*

Has anyone ever seen one of these before?

It's called a Doughnut Peach and my folks bought some and hadn't seen anything like it thought it was so cute and strange. But their very juicy and yummy I would recommend them if you wanna try them ha ha!

GASP! Deborah drawing?! yes I actually started drawing something again and it's been such a long time. All summer had these plans for art projects and things to create but overtime at my job and general life has made me to tired all the time sadly. But I hope to make this part of some new designs for my little blog. Do you guys like my blog the way it is? I thought it could use some artistic flare to reflect my personality. :)

Remember my thrifted blue shirt from my last post? Yup I wore it to the canal walk I thought it would look nicer over a white shirt since it has been so hot recently and it will look better on colder days buttoned up with jeans.

That's been my adventures so far in between working I hope to get some of my little illustrations finished soon and some little projects since my printer is now set up!
