Capricorn baby adventures and some recent changes

Hey guys a lot of things have been happening in the last couple of weeks it's sorta been a whirlwind of activity. First off it was my birthday on the 4rth of January so I got spoiled rotten yet again right after Christmas. Had a little get together at my flat with some friends just a quiet one but we played games and ate food and peeps brought me some things it was lovely.!

After a lot of thinking and weighing out my options over the holidays I decided to leave my crummy part time job. And I feel so good about it's unreal and have actually been so busy and upbeat from this one simple change that it's so positive and been a lot happier! :D

I'm now back at university at this week and it's already really daunting but very exciting and the first day after quitting my job I already got invited to sell prints at an exhibition! And already got some other art projects on the way which is exactly what I wanted and can't wait to do as much projects as I can.

So it's been catching up with old friends over dinner and some partying but the day after my birthday a good friend of mine and her boyfriend took me on a car trip so we could take photography pictures together. :)

We went looking for sea lion's along a beach but it is rather cold here so it must not been a good time of year to see them but I loved the trip so much the place was beautiful.

There was a lot of old war and fisherman buildings along the beach so the place had a lot of history which is always awesome to find. This little place above was to keep fish back in the day and it said bats usually roost inside there. We found a little opening which was pitch black and we were all daring each other to take pictures with flash on inside was pretty funny and scary but nothing happened.

So indeed ladies and gents I'm in a good place just now and a great start to 2014 and excited to see where I'll go creatively this year. Ally also gave me a haircut so I have boyish hair again which I love feels so much better waaaaaah!

Heres a wee cheeky outfit post taken on my birthday hope you like my attractive slipper socks!

Dress: Charity shop
Jumper: George Asda (Christmas gift)
Tights: Primark

I'll try to update you guys soon about the exhibition which is next week and I hope your new years have started out great for you too!

Take care

Everything is still dizzy when you see Placebo and friends

SO THIS IS CHRISTMAS!?

Hey peeps I've been running around even though Uni is gone till January. There's been a lot of celebrating and catching up with friends again with some nights out chucked in the mix. A lot of my peeps are going home for the holidays so been catching up with them having tea and general chat with films and video games in the mix.

OFCOURSE THERE'S FOOD IN THERE TOO!

A very dear friend of mine is also on her way to Canada for an exchange so we sent her on her way with a little bundle of Canada related presents. Including the Ryan Gosling colouring in book, you gotta have that.

Amongst my adventures remember when I said a friend of mine bought tickets for me and them to see a band? Well we finally went to see them last Friday and the band was Placebo?!

First song ever heard by them.

It was actually so good had a great time and was so surreal to see them live. They were the band that I grew up with in High school and where 'that band' that got me through all the rough times. I think we all had at least one band who did that for us all. I was so obsessed with these guys that it was sick knew everything about them and knew every lyric and song. But never went to see them cause was young and parents wouldn't let me go on my own. But seeing them older was pretty amazing but also surreal and it's just like wow I used to be into these guys so much?!
But they do a good show would totally recommend them.

Besides all the hefty Christmas shopping that I've been pretty lazy about doing in all honesty I picked up a couple of things for myself. Their is a lot of bargains just now and it was after finishing all my course work.
The dresses come from New Look and I got them both pretty cheap from the original price. Best thing ever when you discover you can buy kids clothes for cheaper prices.
Kids have beautiful clothes these days!

Since it was getting a little chilly I thought it would be good to invest in some cardigans in colours that match most of my other outfits.

The colours look a bit washed out in the photos apologies but the dress is black and the last cardigan is emerald green.

I'll be going home to see my family for Christmas by the weekend more peeps want to see me before I have to go. Then that will be very busy and crazy as it always is as well.

 Dress: New Look
Jumper: George Asda
Shoes: Primark

My swan princess look I loved that movie as a kid it's the best not worn so much blue before but I think I like it.

You guys going home for Christmas?

WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY?!

Take care

Holiday Packing : clothes, beauty and handy items

Recently the days have consisted of overtime at work about the flat and packing up all my possessions into big brown boxes for the move in a couple of weeks time. And dreaming of all the things I wanted to achieve over the summer but am usually to wiped out to do much of it. Which has been giving me a case of the unfulfilled dream blues but I'm not one to take sadness sitting down.

So have done what most early 20 something students do I made lists! Lists of all the things I plan to do and will be able to do better once we are settled into our new flat. :) And did a little shopping trip for some holiday stuff and beauty stuff to make one feel better and to give myself a spring tune up.

I'll do a post about what I bought when I get back :D

I thought it would be kinda fun and cute if I did a post about my holiday packing to make it more interesting. To practical for my own good I usually only take what is needed the most on trips/holidays  Have not been on a holiday out of the country for about 3/4 years now so I'm quite excited!

Here's what I've been packing cause its the most interesting part of the post!

Were only going away for four days so don't really need to bring much anyway. The only thing missing is a pair of jeans which I'll be wearing on the way :D

When I went shopping I got some traveled size goodies which are always handy just need travel sized toothpaste for my Nashers!

Wee fun fact been using Simple as a bran for quite a while especially their face care range.
I have not used their
facial wash before so I'll let you know how it goes. Their really good for sensitive/damaged skin which I sadly have.

Should I start doing beauty reviews? 0_0

Can't go wrong with a comfy lazy Hoodie for the cold and showers of rain this is my second skin during my first year at uni ha ha.

This..this ladies and gentlemen is my dress for the holiday and I love it so much I had outfit posts of this baby before my SD card crashed boo!

From H&M had my eye on it for a while then finally took the plunge and bought it and I love it.
It also has a belt and pockets! dresses with pockets are one of my fave things and its so comfortable!

Do you guys have a favorite dress?

This concludes my holiday packing adventure I'm away to Poland this Monday so I'll have lots of snap shots for you guys when I get back.
Hope you have a lovely week or any holidays your having this summer too!

Excuse the sad face was an accident ha ha!

Top: Primark
Crop Jeans: So wear it Declare it
Shoes: Primark

It's been pretty hot these days so daring to bare my legs again and getting used to the heat has been...gah so warm and sleepy all the time?!

Hope you guys have a great week and I'll post again when I get back.
